DEPARTMENT OF HOME AFFAIRS

I went into a Bank to update my account I issued them with my smart card ID (first time I was using it since I received it in 2018, as Im always using my Green barcoded ID) I was told that the banks identification system is linked directly to Home Affairs, however they found that the details that appeared on my smart card ID was not on the system. I was told only my picture and signature was available and nothing else. So please explain to me how come I was issued a smart card ID without all my information been captured on Home Affairs system. Firstly getting my smart card ID made was a nightmare because I was at the Home affairs office at 1am I early morning in mid winter already following a huge queue only to be done with the process after 1pm that day. What must I do now?
