Delays

Hi there,I app**** for an ID on the 15/06/23 at Home Affairs(Durban,commercial road),I was told that I would receive an SMS but up until today I have not received any SMS.Couple of weeks later I lost my bank card(ABSA),I blocked that card with a hope of making a new one.Upon attempting that at the branch(Musgrave) I was told that my old ID is not usable(it got damaged,I washed my school bag,and it was inside).They told me to get a temporary ID,when I got to Home Affairs,they said that my thumbs are not recognised by the system,also with the banks said the samething.I accept that,the issue now is that I am getting paid to the same account,meaning that I can't pay rent,buy grocery,get to work.I can't do anything,I need help as soon as possible.I would like to have my ID as after couple of attempt to check my ID status,they said it does not look like they have began processing it.Thank you.
