Copy Of Death Certificate

I had app**** for a copy of my late grandmothers death certificate on the 26th of November 2015, I was told that since she passed away without having an ID document they could not pull it up on the system they would have to check with head office in PTA and that could take years, YEARS???<br> Are there no policies in place to find such required documents?? How am I to wait years for something that I obviously need urgently or else i wouldn't have bothered to apply for it in the first place.<br> I would appreciate assistance in this regard on Feedback or possibly a way forward so that I can get this certificate.
