Closing time is 14:00 not 16:00 as per the website

I went to the department of home affairs on the 05/12/2018 to do my 1 year old sons passport. WE arrived at home affairs in Alberton at 13:00 and had to sit outside in the que. The process is that you sit outside the que and there after get a number to sit in another que. Despite being in the rain with my 1 year old son, at about 14;00 the manager which is a coloured lady walked and said that the department closes at 15;30. She then said If we are still in the que We won’t be assisted. The last intake occurred at 14:00 where the final intake people to be seated in home affairs were given que numbers. The remainder of the 2 hours no person was assisted that was queuing outside. At 15:30 the doors closed and the people left queuing was not assisted. I then pushed the door open to find out what’s happening only to find out that there were only a few people inside Seated to be assisted. I then took some photos and send it to the provincial manager. I hen approached the manager of the branch she stated that she sends out 5 lists a day with 70 people on a list. After that list is filled we won’t assist. This seems similar to what gets done with refugees. I’ve told her I took a half days leave in order to get my sons passport to which she responded that they open at 8 and I should be there early in order to be on the list. This is clearly an insult. Can you please assist or update the website as it states home affairs closes at 16:00 and not 14:00. As well as the process.
