Changing of marital status

I have been divorced for three years now, two months before my wedding this year October, I found out that my status still shows married, but I have a decree of divorce. I re-submitted the documents on the 20th of August 2015, when I phoned to check the status in September 2015, they informed me that head office where the status needs to be updated had received my request on the 4th of September and that it takes 4 to 6 weeks to update. It has now been 12 weeks and I call in every week to find out if my status has been updated to divorced so that my new marriage can be registered and I we can register the contract that we got married with. I only have 3 months to register that contract but that can only be done once my new marriage has been registered, and I can not do that until my status shows divorced. Every week I call and every week I get told that it has been escalated and that I should call again next week. This is ridiculous, how long can it possibly take to change my status? I call the *** number and every week I get told the same thing by a different person.
