Change of Surname - 2 years and counting

<p>In Jan 2015 I filled in form to change my daughter's surname to my married surname - with all required documents included (letter from her biological father, stepfather - everything). I've been to the Akasia office maybe 10 times in the past couple of years, as this process should take no longer than 3-6 months. It's been 2 YEARS! And every time I go - it's stuck on the same screen but no one can offer any explanation or resolution - don't know what the problem is!? This is rediculous! How difficult can this be?</p>
