Brilliant Service

<p>I am thoroughly impressed by Home Affairs. We have always dreaded going to this office. On the 22 July 2016 (Friday) I went to apply for a passport and smart ID, I did advise that I need my passport before the 7 day turn-around-time as that would have fallen either the day before or the day I was departing. On the 26 July 2016 (Tuesday) I received a text to say my passport was ready. That was incredible, unfortunately I do not remember the name of the gentleman who helped me. He merely asked his senior to flag my application and it was done. I had walked in the office at 15:42 by 16:35 everything was done. </p> <p>I am impressed by the paperless service, friendly staff and the fact that we don't need to go and get photos taken elsewhere and bring pens. However the security guards can do with a little bit of niceness. </p> <p>When I was collecting my passport it was just as quick was out within 15 minutes. I collected my ID on the 03 August 2016 (election day) I arrived by 15:55 by the time I was given the ticket number I was called and I was out in 3 minutes flat. </p> <p>Credit is due, I am sorry I forgot to get hold of the office manager, he deserves to know about the wonderful service I experienced. </p>
