Birth registration

Did you know that a baby born with the help of a midwife (in Pretoria) can not be registered in Mpumalanga!? Only clinic and hospital births are acceptable for registration of babies in Mpumalanga (Secunda) Their advice is go back to Gauteng as midwives are accepted there! Medical aids find them acceptable to handle a birth, but DHA find it unacceptable!

What if a child was born at home or at a accident scene without medical doctors??

They also only register a certain amount of babies a day as well. If you are past their daily limit sorry come back another day!

Are we living in different countries? How can the same department have different rules in different provinces!

It is pathetic what happened to our country and the departments!
