Birth registration

I've just spent the whole day at home affairs umgeni road in Durban to make my newborn's birth certificate. 1stly, they only started taking people at 12:30pm, at this time I had gone to make copies that were needed as a result, I went in with the 2nd batch after 13:00.

When inside, we were given forms to fill in and join the last queue to get the birth certificates made but when I got to the front. I was again turned down cos they apparently do not make certificates for children born in Addington hospital.

I live in greyville therefore I'm just up the road from this home affairs, does it make sense that I must now travel with my baby, during these pandemic times, using public transport to Addington to make a birth certificate that could've been made right there today? Worse of all, they weren't busy, no one was behind me as they were still busy with the forms and this is the biggest home affairs in Durban and I made all !y children's birth certificates here and !y ID.
