birth certificate

I started the process in March 2018 to rectify my son's birth certificate, filled in all forms gave to us finger prints where done everything whatever was requested was given and completed.Came December we need to get documents from the school so we did submit again to home affairs. after many attempts to follow up and take time off from work to sit in a long queue just to hear the following sorry mam its still on the system in process nothing we can do. so i took it upon myself to start phoning the call centre and every time i phone that the answer i get is mam im sending a email so someone can acknowledge the documents which was sent in December to Head office which not even a single person has looked because they must be informed and notify you need to start doing your work. so my son is matric this year and cant make an ID unless he gets his birth certificate before he can get an ID so please tell me what must i do because no one respond to mails if they do than it the same story its on the system nothing we can do while my son wont be able to write matric exam because of documents that been in process know for the last 2 years.
