Birth Certificate

In 2013 I app**** Unabridged certificates for my 2kids. One came out fine while the one for my daughter came out with my surname even though I changed their surnames to their father's and have abridged birth certificates and passports with their father's surname. I have been going to the boksburg home affairs since early 2014 and they promise to follow up the matter. The explanation was that my daughter's first certificate was captured at Temba(Hammanskraal) and the Temba office must remove the certificate first before they can be able to capture it at Boksburg. They say they phoned Temba office and there is no response and I must go there and tell them to remove the certificate then come back to Boksburg so they can capture it with the correct surname. That is 1hr 30min each way that I have to drive.<br> My concern is why is the system so complicated that custumers have to drive between offices to get the service they deserve. Why do we have to struggle so much to do simple things, this is frustrating.
