Birth certificate

We have a complain about the application we did at the beginning of January 2015. We went to the Home affairs offices in Kempton park on the 27th of January 2015 to apply for the change of surname for our daughter. We followed their orders, submitted all the documents required and paid the fare for the application. We were told that it will take 6 months to a year to get the process done. We went to the offices in Mpumalanga on the 30th of September 2015 to check if the certificate is changed and ready for collection but the lady at that office told us that according to the information on her system the application was only submitted on the 17th of September 2015. We were very disappointed but we decided to wait patiently and check after a few weeks. We went again on the 12th of January 2016 and again the certificate ready. We are very upset with the people working at the government department of home affairs because they are not doing their job and they don't care about their customers. This is not acceptable.
