This is a shameful disgrace regarding how people (taxpaying citizens of this country) are treated at the Humansdorp Department of Home Affairs office by people who are paid to serve them using taxpayer money.

People are sitting there for days without being helped. It seems as though they are on a slow strike, and even the manager ignores the people. In fact, it looks like she is in a trance about what is happening there.

Her defense is that they are frustrated with the workload. BUT that’s not our fault, is it? In my opinion, an investigation should be conducted, and the people who refuse to work should be fired.

Why doesn’t the Department of Home Affairs hire people on a contract basis, people who are paid PER CLIENT they successfully assist? THEN you will see things happening. At this point, they are causing frustration that could lead to violence.
