bad service from home affairs

when i got married in december 2014 i had to change my kids surnames to my husbands, so that was done in 2015 january after 6 months i received the new birth certificate for the old child and i struggled with the young one certificate i had to go back to home affairs to complete other forms for him the eventually we received the certificate, then when we were applying for the old one for high school last year may we were told that we had to apply for him an unabriged birth certificate so we went back to home affairs and app**** cause the school wanted proof that i have app**** for the unabriged birth certificate, so late last yera we went to check and we were told that we need to complete the forms again so we did, everytime we go and check they say its not yet done even today we checked again and its still not done.......... i am asking myself why did we have to hear it from the schhol that the abriged certificate is no longer working, why were we not informed/ advised by home affairs first time when we app****........... home affairs service is just bad period............its more than a year now since we app**** for the unabriged birth certificate and you dont even get an update form them telling you if these documents missing or what they are just quite
