Application for Green card for my 16year old and change of surname for myself as I am a divorced.

Yesterday 05 February 2018 I arrived at 06h45 at the Home affairs office at Kempton Park. When I got there, already the lines were long. Well..patient enough, I joined the line with my son as I have taken him from school and I app**** for a leave day at work to get this done. They basically has 3 lines, which you had to figure it out yourself which line would be the correct one. AT 07H45 from the application line for ID/Green card..20 people were allowed in. Then from the collecting line the same has been happening. Every hour ten people were allowed from the applications line and so did it go on until 11h45 they allowed about 15 people to enter for application. Believe you me that were the last people to enter. AT 13H00 iwere still in the line , near the entrance with about 22 people in front of me. A lady came out and speak to the people right at the back of the line that they were not gonna be able to assist them. Inside the home Affairs office it were so full and you see the staff doing up and down. Now we were not sure if they are working or not. It seems as they only take a certain amount of people per day. The offices are dirty from the outside, The had a leaking toilet that were fixed but later the day the leak started again. No chairs are available for one to sit. Old people were also there but were not been taken care off. I really feel that this is unfair for people to wake up so early and still going home not being attended. I decided to leave at 13h30 because I were not happy at all with the service. One can not rock up at a place and not being assisted. I waisted a days work and I waisted a day for my son at school. There are so many people out there that are looking for jobs and that are really willing to work. Not people that has the job but are not performing. It's a pity i chose to go the the Kempton Park branch. The office lines are also not been picked up because while I were standing outside, I tried to call them to make them aware that we notice that they do not provide the service but nobody collected the call. I am highly disappointed as they do not have a proper working system in place.
