Alberton Department of Home Affairs needs serious intervention

Department of Home Affairs Alberton branch. What a total disgrace. People que from 4am in the mornings and leave there in the afternoon when the branch is about to close. A family member experienced this. Now on my turn I need to collect my marriage certificate. Got there as early as 6pm and found a long que at collections. I stood there for 8 hours in the blazing hot sun and only went in at 2pm. The staff is so rude absolutely no order and gets angry when asked question for assistance/where to go. You get to witness new born babies, the elderly in these long ques in the sun. This is a daily occurrence as I've made a turn a few times thinking the line would be shorter on another day. After 8 hours I was still not satisfied, to find our details hasn't been captured whereas our pastor submitted the papers 2 months ago, was the last straw for me. A TOTAL DISGRACE OF A SERVICE. No dignify in servicing South Africans. Something must be done URGENTLY!!!!
