9 years no permit

My family and I were repatriated to South Africa in 2006. We entered SA legally. Since then, we have been struggling to get the permanent residence permit for my wife. Eventually, we were granted the Spousal permit but the Passport had expired. Now, 3 months had passed with us struggling to just getting the permit into the new Passport. Now some idiot is sitting on getting his job done. By the time they do their job, the new Passport will be, again, expired!
