7 months to process ID confirmation letter

<p>I app**** for a confirmation letter with Home Affairs months ago. I call them 3 times and each time they say the matter will be escalated but nothing has been obviously done.</p> <p>what is worse is that my life is onhold because my details are incomplete. Cannot apply for home loans etc.</p>
