7 months and I'm still waiting for my Unabridge BC

On the 28th of March 2015 both myself and my husband went to the Bellville office and app**** for our Passports and Unabridged Birth Certificates. A week later we collected our passports and he received his Unabridged birth certificate. Shy of 8 months later and I am still waiting. I've called the Customer Care line and they keep telling that it's being finalized. Why on earth is it taking this long? Its mind boggling when our fellow African brothers and sisters who come in the country only wait 3 days for their Asylum documents. I need this now!!!
