6 months and STILL NO UNABRIDGED BIRTH CERTIFICATE

I app**** for an unabridged birth certificate in June 2015 for my 8 year old daughter. <br> <br> Six weeks later I received an sms message saying that they required more information......Went to Randburg, filled out additional forms, handed them in. Was told in 6 weeks you will have the Birth Certificate. <br> <br> I have called almost every week since then and guess what...NO BIRTH CERTIFICATE.<br> <br> So, on 30 October 2015, I spoke to a call centre helper who advised me that he can see the certificate on the system but that there are no parental details. And he advised that he can see that forms were submitted to Randburg, who has not forwarded them to PRETORIA. <br> <br> I called Randburg Home Affairs, and the woman who answers the phone has NO TELEPHONE MANNERS at all. The phone is just answered HELLO....then you are put through to nothing.....the phone just rings and rings. <br> <br> Home Affairs Minister should be embarrassed, they have a useless department. Perhaps they should go for training at SARS......SARS is a pleasure to deal with and so efficient and polite and HELPFUL. <br> <br> SO STILL NO BIRTH CERTIFICATE and still no service delivery.
