34 years struggling to get an ID DOCUMENT SOUTH AFRICAN CITIZEN

Good Day,

I am writing this on behalf of my neighbor in regards to her son, who has been failed by Home affairs he is now 34 years of age without an ID document.

The mother is 60+ and worried that if anything happens to her, her son wont be able to benefit anything from her(((his the only child she has)), she has tried numerous times going back and forth to home affairs and no luck.

She explained that she has given birth to him in May 1986 in a village KZN there were no means of transportation and she given birth by herself.

She has all documents that was required/asked by the home affairs' however when the processing takes place for him to get a birth certificate for him to apply for an ID document they tell her they have lost his documents and she needs to go back to the schools that he went to and the letter from the KING of that village,

Please assist she has lost hope, and wants his son to also have a future he cant apply for anything nor get a job.
