2 years still no birth certificate

I app**** for an unabridged birth certificate because I had no choice because you can't do nothing without one even though my daughter was born before unabridged birth certificates were given at birth.

I app**** on 16 Jan 2019 and have still to date (14 Dec 2020) not received it. Each time I followed up I was told the matter was escalated! Its almost 2 years later! 23 months to be exact. Last month they told me the official signed to my case could not locate the record of birth (I mean really? Lame excuse) I am absolutely horrified that I have waited almost 2 years and I'm still not any closer than I was on the day I app**** for it.

I struggle with applying for educational funding from my employer, struggled to apply for high school, struggle to register for sports, etc....EVERYTHING depends on that unabridged birth certificate which for some reason is too difficult for home affairs to complete.
