2 Years and Still WAITING FOR SURNAME CHANGE !!!!!
<p> </p> <p>Good Day</p> <p>…please read carefully as there will be consequences to follow:</p> <p> </p> <p>I app**** for a Surname amendment 2 years ago 2014/08/26 Home Affairs Reginal Office Johannesburg. They apparently sent all the documents to Amendments, but till today (05 May 2016) the amendment is still not done and my daughter doesn't have a proper birth certificate. They told me it takes 6-8 months, but it’s been far longer than that now, 2 YEARS AND STILL WAITING!!! I need the amendment done as my child needs her birth certificate.<br /> <br /> I have contacted the call centre, but neither of them have answers to anything.</p> <p>I've spoken to: 18/02/2014</p> <p>· Mbali ,Paul Matusi ,Busisiwe, Brenda Williams, Louise, Jabulani Similani, Peggy Sue, Percy, Rose Mapanga, Biotumelo, Byron, but NONE of them have been helpful. </p> <p>Rose Mapanga (Supervisor) told me after a year that the documents are now missing and that I had to then go back to Home Affairs Reginal Office Johannesburg and do my application OVER AGAIN and email or fax her all the documents.</p> <p> </p> <p>On the: 28/12/2015 I did application again submitted it to *** as per Rosa Mapanga the Supervisor. I gave her a call to confirm that they received my emails and got a Yes from MRS MAPANGA.</p> <p> </p> <p>Two weeks later phoned the Call Center JUST TO HEAR NO DOCUMENTS ARE ATTACHED CASE- REF ***. I Sent these documents over 50 times and still have all the read receipts and still as of today 17/05/2016 NO DOCUMENTS ARE ATTACHED TO THIS CASE.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>I have been told over and over again that someone will contact me regarding this issue – no one phones. <br /> If the DHA does NOT resolve this issue I am heading to the newspapers/media and will even take this to Carte Blanche as you are now the obstacle to my daughter’s way of life.</p> <p> </p> <p>With regards to Carte Blanche I have already spoken to them and they have been blind cc’d into this email and are awaiting my call of outcome so please do not think me a pushover as I am dead serious regarding this matter.</p> <p> </p> <p>IF YOU COULD PLEASE APPEAL TO THIS MATTER, I WOULD BE ETERNALLY GREATFUL </p> <p> </p> <p>Thank you for patience in reading this saga.</p> <p>Sincerely,</p> <p> </p>
