In 2024 I went to change the surname from my mother's surname to my father's surname they told me to back and check it after 9 months,only to find out that my application came back in 2 months time and they didn't send a message to inform me about a query

In 2024 I went to change the surname from my mother's surname to my father's surname they told me to back and check it after 9 months,only to find out that my application came back in 2 months time and they didn't send a message to inform me about a query I kept on waiting until that 9 months was over I went back and it was then they told me about the query. I submitted they documents they wanted they told me to come back after 4 months when I went back after 4 months they told me they haven't fix the query because my documents were misplaced, still they were no communication. I went back and gave them another documents which was last year December they told me I should come back January 2026 I went there January they told me I must come after 2 months again,today I went there still nothing has changed still they are saying I must come back again in 2 months time.this is tiring please help me
