DHET HR

From 2021 September, I submitted my Advance Certificate in English which is recognised by DHET and is supposed to assist me in improving my grading from REQV 13 TO 14. I have been sent from pillar to post I now believe that DHET doesn't have HR. I have written to the HR in my college the response is that they do not know when the assessment is going to be done and completed. Last year September the Labour got involved and I was told that they have engaged the DHET HR but no results up to date. I feel as if I am held hostage by the department because I am ready to go on retirement but I am scared that if I can retire before this matter is resolved I will not be compensated according to the scale in which I am supposed to be right now. It is worse calling DHET HR, I certainly believe that they do not have telephones in their offices, you hold and the automatic answering machine keeps playing but never the actual people answer you. Even the unions are not bale to assist in the matter. DHET HR is a scary animal that no one is able to approach and be successful. I wrote to the DDG that was supposedly ging to sign for the assessment to be processed, she did not respond. So my question is why are they given cellphones and laptops if they are not using them. I am certain my experience is not encountered by me alone because that is what my HR at college level keeps telling me as if that is ok that we are many who are having the same challenge with DHET HR. I am her to find someone who can help me or make the noise for me so that I am heard and get a response.
