Mistreatment

On the 21st of October around 11pm i visited Phola park clinic due to a very bad acid reflux , I was in so much pain but got bul**** by someone who was supposed to assist me . I got to the clinic and got directed to the maternity ward because i am pregnant (8 months) .

When i got there i was directed to the nurses office if i can call it that , i got there and i asked the male nurse who was on duty that night if i can i take a seat of which he refused and asked me what my problem is. Upon trying to explain what im feeling this demonic lady rudely interrupted me by telling me to stand up straight and not to touch the furniture.

I did as instructed despite of being in excruciating pain because I was in need of their help . She asked me where my maternity card is i explained that im planning on giving birth at botshelong private hospital therefore i do have the card she is referring to . She then commanded me to leave them room and wait for her by the benches .

I was then called back into the room , this is about 15 mins later mind you they were no patients waiting i was the only patient excluding the ladies in the wards . She asked me what medications im on and i told her , she then said to me “We deal with normal mothers with normal babies , you are not a clinic patient you need to go to the hospital” her words really pierced my heart as she wasn’t helping me in any way but kept on insulting me .

My sugar levels were tested by the gentleman without my consent he just poked me and took my blood , he made me lye on the bed to check the baby the curtains were not closed for privacy. When he was done he told me get up , im highly pregnant he didn’t even help me get up and then the demonic lady just shouted “Fix my linen when you’re done”

I was then referred back to the emergency section when a dr just gave me pain meds and lanzelok and told me to get gaviscon the next day .

The reason im writing this letter , I would like to report this SR that mistreated me at the maternity ward i did not get her name . She was on night shift duty with a gentleman. That lady treated me like piece of trash .
