Leave gratuity

Good day

I have worked for health department since 15 September 1988 ( 32 years) and my last days of retirement I was working at Frontier Hospital in Queenstown (Eastern Cape)

I submitted my notice of retirement in May 2020 and that my last working day was 30 September 2020 and I did not take my annual leave which was supposed to be in August 2020. Since then I have not received what is due to me.

I contacted Mr. Soxunjwa who is the HR Manager at Frontier Hospital and his response was that my file was taken to verification department in Bisho of which I feel everytime I make a follow-up, I am told it is still at verification department. I feel that I am ignored and it seems it will take another year FROM 2020 - 2022.

I am requesting that the time frames be put in place for me to receive what is due to me since its been dragging for a while now.

Last month I was told the matter has been taken to tax department then to payments, I still have not received what is due to me and its over a year now. The contact number for Mr. Soxunjwa HR Manager Frontier Hospital is ***.
