inconsiderate service...my son's life on hold

<p>i lost my son's life chart card as the nanny that was taking care of him left us for another job and the card was displaced and i could never retrieve it. i moved back from bloemfontein to qwaqwa at that time, i went to the hospital at the first attempt to get assistance in getting the card, the told me to go make an affidavit at SAPS and bring along the child's birth certificate and ID i did all this october of 2014 and i was sitted at the martenity ward asked to wait there for a nurse that will help, no one told me to go to admin for my file, i sat there for 2 hours with women in very difficult to watch labour pains and i got a call that needed me somewhere else so i left. again i went when my son was admitted for grade 1, which was last year to ask for the card to be made for him as the school needs it for admission and i went there on a sunday and they told me now that admin was not working i must come back tommorow, i went again on monday queued for admin for another 2 hours and they told me that my file is too old ( 2009) when i gave birth and that someone will go look for it and call me back once they have it this was in August, i am still waiting for the call. i feel that patients are treated ill in the hospital as there is no urgency of any sort when it comes to reporting such matters, and with all the fuss made about identity ***** yet no one is taking a stand to ensure that there is record of lost cards or its replacements, i am purely unhappy and felt very less valued, to think that i am a tax payer being treated like a nobody by a public servant is disappointing.</p>
