Delay in servicing patients
What a disgrace, I am utterly devastated at the New hospital at the Soweto district. The service is very outrageous. I don't wish to go there for anything as we get no service nor support. For one to be serviced you will sit in the queue for 3 to 4 hours before being attended to just to merely open up a file. The hospital is clean but service is poor. Can the designated representatives take this up with the head of the hospital. We cannot afford to continue accepting poor unnecessary service delays. We need the old traditional system back where nurses knew that when a patient walks in they should be attended to. There should be a turn around time stipulated clearly on their posters stating their SLA - Service Level Agreement that one should expected attended. Those posters on the walls do not state clearly how long 1 should patiently wait for assistance, instead it talks about the promise of service delivery which is there but very pathetic. Unemployed people seeking the services of these nurses who do not care to act promptly to help sickly patients. Transformation needs to be implemented as a matter of urgency. Make use of qualified nurses and matrons. Mr Tshabalala ***.
