Bad treatment of patients out of theatre

I have been a patient at Fordsburg Clinic on two occasions and both occasions had terrible experiences. Some of the staff treats a person like a human being but the rest think they are working in a slaughter pen. As soon as one comes out of theatre they start waking you to get ready to leave as they are only a day clinic. However, patients have not eaten since the evening before and they are not even prepared to give a patient a cup of tea. One is not fully alert and hungry on top of it but they could not be bothered. Their fees is no less than R12 000 not even for a full day in the Clinic. I have never had such an experience at any other clinic in South Africa. The first occasion I went to the clinic was a few years back when I had a wisdom tooth removed. Not only could I not breathe and they were not interested but tried to get me ready to leave as soon as I came out of theatre. The problem however was after I discovered it myself, they had left the cotton swabs in my throat which was blocking the air from coming out or going in. I pulled the swabs out and that was it. Not an apology or any discipline for the theatre staff. How disgusting for a theatre.
