bad service

My 4 year old son badly damaged his finger when it got stuck in a door. We arrived at the day hospital at about 18h45, the nurse on duty gave my son some drops for the pain and she send my wife straight to the Doctor on duty. The doctor had a look at my sons finger and then asked my wife to wait in the waiting room. At 23h00 my son started crying again because of the pain, I enquired at security when we will be attended to, it is then when I found that the day Doctor who looked at my sons finger has left and the night doctor was unaware about my sons injury. At 23h45 my son was send for xrays. After seeing the xrays, tne Doctor referred us to Mitchells Plain hospital. We arrived at the hospital just after midnight. A Doctor only saw my son at 07h30. From 19h00 till the next morning at 07h00 we had to cover my sons injury with a piece of toilet paper. I am ussually a very strong person,but on this day feeling so helpless, I was very close to tears, I could not believe that people will actually treat a 4 year old boy like this. I want to add though and thank the Doctor who finally came to my sons rescue for taking such special care of my boy.I wanted to say more,but I ran out of air.
