Bad service, empty promises

<p>On 10 April 2017, after an unfortunate incident. I was referred to Dents n All by a friend that once had his wife's car repaired there. A very chatty and friendly Danie greeted me on my arrival. He had a quick look at the damage, did an assessment and gave me a quote to fix and spray the dent to the fender and replace the side mirror. He told me to leave the car with them as they will have it all repaired the next day.</p> <p>On 11 April I received a call from Danie informing me that everything is done except for the cover of the side mirror that wasn't the correct part as delivered by the supplier. He said that it will be ready the next day. I had to pay half of the amount before he allowed me to get the car back as I needed it for work.</p> <p>On 12 April I dropped by to get the cover fitted. Danie explained that the new cover was never delivered. I also made Danie aware that the door panel that they removed to have the new cover fitted wasn't put back properly as one of the clips on the inside was damaged or broken when they removed the panel. Danie said they will fix it when I come to fit the mirror cover. I couldn't drive without cover so Danie "organised" a temporary cover in the meantime and told me to be back at Dents n All the next Monday as he will have the cover ready. He had me pay the balance of the amount as quoted right there.</p> <p>On 18 April I once again dropped in at Dents n All as I have still not heard anything. Danie told me that the clips of the cover that was delivered by the supplier was broken and he already send it back and ordered a new one. He will phone me the next day to come and have it fitted.</p> <p>By 29 April Danie phoned me and explained that the supplier once again send a cover with broken clips and that he promises that it will be ready by the next Monday.</p> <p>On 25 April Danie phoned me and said that he just received the cover and he will have it sprayed today and he will phone me the next day when it will be ready for fitment.</p> <p>On 2 May I went to Dents n All to find out why I never received a call and yo get the cover fitted. Danie assured me that he did call, twice and that he couldn't get hold of me. The cover was still not sprayed. He told me to come back the next day.</p> <p>On 3 May I eventually had the correct cover fitted. When I asked them to fix the door panel that they damaged I was told to come back later the week as they are too busy. </p> <p>I will never go back to Dents n All. Something that was supposed to be a quick 2 day fix, turned into a 3 week back and forth with more excuses than solutions. </p> <p>Apart from the fact that I had my fender fixed and eventually the side mirror also, the workmanship felt rushed and sloppy with overspray and broken clips on panels which I had to get fixed somewhere else.</p> <p> </p>
