More expensive parts fitted without client consent

At the time of writing, Dent Doctor is two weeks over a repair deadline that they set.

1. They did not follow due diligence when quoting - they quoted on a part that is not available (or so they say)
2. My car was with them for a week before I received a notification about this part. Surely a parts order should have been placed on day one?
3. In writing, they confirmed that they were waiting for a bumper. Later I was told that a door was the part they needed.

4. They did not ask nor receive MY authorisation for this new part - this is a massive Consumer Protection Act contravention.

5. They have made no attempt to rectify this situation. As a paying customer, I have been expected to merely just accept this sub-standard service.

Reviewer Update

Despite some initial hiccups with my vehicle repair, the Dent Doctor rectified their error, despite forces beyond their control (an area wide three-day power failure). The quality of work seems excellent.
