I'm extremely unhappy with the Democratic Alliance's recruitment process, I feel like I have been treated like a statistic instead of individual. After receiving a text message advising me of the following "Invite for assessment at Courtyard Hotel 9-13 Zulberg Close, Off Ernest Oppenheimer Road, Bruma 15 Feb ********** Bring copy of ID and bank statement/letter. DA" I requested my time and date to be moved to a more convenient time, considering the fact that I live in Cape Town and need to make arrangements to attend this assessment in Johannesburg , I was advised the following "Unfortunately the date cannot be changed. The people who are successful in this round of recruitment will be required to report for duty on Monday, 19 February, hence the tight timeframes." I feel that this is not a fair process, especially if that was not advised as a part of the application process. That you want the applicants to commence immediately so it should have been a condition of application that you are available at short notice.
