'Are there any public swimming pools open in Cape Town today? If there are, the city doesn't know about them!

Have just spent an hour trying (unsucesfully) to find out if the Wynberg swimming pool is open today. Called the City a dozen times. No-one had any idea. There is no longer a phone at the pool to call to see if they are open. I called my ward counciller - no answer. If this is the DA running 'a world class city'.....I guess it's time to emigrate....
