<p>Deluxe Auto Engineering charged for a service that was never rendered and based on their comments</p> <p>I purchased a mull functioning product. I saw on advert posted by Junaid Ismail of living on House Number 368 Rd 701 Chatsworth’s ( ********** ). The product was a 2.8 Iveco cylinder heard. I used public transport to get to Durban and upon arriving I called Junaid who came after about 20 minutes with the Cylinder heard. I told them I would not want to buy a mul-functional product and would prefer to take the product to the engineers and if they knew any. We took the product to Deluxe Auto Engineering 21 Chatsworth Main Rd, Umhlatuzana Township, Chatsworth, Postal Address:P.O. Box 562379, Chatsworth, 4030 ; Tel: (031) ********** Fax: (031) ********** .</p> <p> Junaid and his father opted for the Deluxe Engineering as they indicated that they had a good business relationship with the Company. The company with above registration was supposed to do pressure testing of cylinder head. We dropped the cylinder heard at around 8.30 am and they advised that it will take about 2 hours to do the pressure testing. We left their premises and after 2 hours they called us and we went back to their premises. The engineers indicated that they was nothing wrong with the cylinder heard after doing the pressure testing. I paid them a cost of R300 (I have the receipt).</p> <p>My decision to buy the Cylinder heard was based on the non-malfunctioning of the Cylinder heard as confirmed by the Engineers. Deluxe Auto Engineering confirmed that the cylinder hear was functioning well. I proceeded to pay Junaid and His Father R 7 500 and they gave me a receipt.Upon arriving back in Johannesburg I took the cylinder to my mechanic who told me upfront that the valves on cylinder heard have some carbon indicating that no pressure testing was done. I assured them that Pressure testing was done. Upon putting the heard on my truck they discovered that the Cylinder Heard was mul functional.</p> <p>All I want is reimbur*****t of my funds</p> <p>· Pressure Testing cost of R300</p> <p>· Purchase price of cylinder heard R7500</p> <p>· Loss of income caused by false advert from Deluxe Auto Engineering</p> <p>Due to unprofessionalism and charging for services not rendered for I would like to explore of taking the company to through the legal channel on a matter of principle as well</p>
