Zero Accountability

<p>Last night we ordered take aways from Delivery Extreme in Helderberg. The order was placed at about 6:30PM and we were promised delivery at "8:35 at the latest." I know that the restaurant we ordered from is extremely quick and I have never had to wait there for more than 10 minutes for my order. By 7:55 we phoned again and asked about our order. The first excuse we were given was that the restaurant was very busy, but as I said they never make anyone wait longer than 10 minutes, so they told us the drivers are extremely busy because it's holidays. When the operator ran out of excuses we asked to speak to a manager, but was told he's unavailable and a few seconds later they claimed they got hold of the driver and he would be there in 2 minutes. We asked repeatedly why they couldn't just call us and at least let us know what's going on so we could have made another plan if needed, but were just ignored. The driver eventually arrived just after 8. I gave the driver a decent tip because it's not his fault that his employers do not seem to want to talk to their customers. I also asked him to please get the manager to call me... I'm still waiting. If this was the first time I've had this kind of problem with them I probably wouldn't say anything - but this has happened almost every single time we placed an order with delivery xtreme.</p>
