Delivery Extreme - more like Disaster Extreme

Food delivery company trying to compete with Mr D . The list of complaints is long, but for sake of brevity and summary:

1. You place the order, then they invariably call you back 20min later with higher "correct" pricing. In short, they either cannot be bothered to every update their prices on their website ever or worse (and this is my personal suspicion) they purposefully misquote to secure the order, then hike the prices to pad their own margins.

2. They state their delivery time is 45min max. The call-center agent says that is clearly also not correct - their standard MINIMUM delivery time is 1hr - for any variation in area they add another 30min. So in total, my delivery would be with me 2hrs after I placed the order online.

3, Their call-centre staff are a complete joke - no empathy for the client (presumably this is how every second "courtesy" call goes). Even when speaking to a socalled manager (also a complete joke in terms of explanations).

Positives - the food was good (nothing to do with them) and the delivery person was friendly at least. I really feel sorry for the delivery people working at Disaster Extreme, given that they are reliant on tips and after such a bad experience customers cannot be eager to tip as well as they otherwise would (if at all).

This is the second (and last) time that I have used them in 12 months and I have had identically bad experiences on both occasions. I can only assume that Disaster Extreme is doing so well financially that they honestly do not care to fix this basic mistakes (or as the Manager called Nathan told me on the phone - it is up to Head Office and Head Office does not bothered to update prices on a timely basis or to correct the blatant misadvertising of how long deliveries will take).

Customers beware - it will ruin what may otherwise have been a good take-away experience with a good restaurant. I would highly recommend that you DO NOT USE these charlatans who call themselves Delivery Extreme.

The only extreme thing is their terrible service, inaccurate pricing and bad telephone service.
