New Owner Ruins Old Favourite Coffee Shop

Just had the most disappointing experience at Delish Restaurant and want to warn other. What was once one of my favourite coffee shops in Hout Bay, is now run by a new owner without people-skills. My wife's chilli hot choc (which we have had often before elsewhere) was sent back as it set our mouths on fire with the amount of chilli in it (and we grew up in Durban). I requested for it to be replaced with a normal hot choc and for the bill to be adjusted. The owner instructed for the staff to keep it on the bill (without informing us). We were surprised at the end of our outing to be forced into a shouting match in the middle of the restaurant, being told that we ordered it and we must pay for it. The owner also refused to taste it.<br> <br> I have never sent any drink back in my life and have never been a difficult customer, so was shocked when the owner told me that she doesn't actually want people like me in her restaurant. This is thoroughly disappointing as it gives the friendly people of Hout Bay a poor name.<br> <br> A pity that this once sweet coffee shop as been ruined by poor ownership and management.
