I will never recommend this place to anyone

I really had bad service. I booked at the place on the 18th of February 2022 to have celebration on the 23rd April . I asked them to check if they don’t have double booking than they said “no we Don't”. I went to the venue Friday night of 22nd April 2022 where I found out that they have a double booking. I asked them they did they double and the said “no that booking its for 24th not 23rd”. I'm the 1 who made them aware of the double booking than the chef called and confirmed the date to find that I'm right about double booking. Than I asked them nicely that can I used this particular side and they said yes. The problem came on Saturday morning I found that place set up for the other booking that was booked in March. I urgently called the owner but they didn’t pick up my calls . The chef told me I should set up outside or get my money back I was like I'm not going anywhere. Where am I supposed to get a venue at this time. They proceeded to be rude, undermining and arrogant. .. After 3 hours they said I should use the bedroom. I than said only if I’m not gonna pay the balance than they said it’s fine. I don't understand the hype about this place, thier service was horrible. Fast forward we were served cold food that looked like it was prepared days in advance. Yoh and the so called Zulu speaking chef didn't want to give us the food that was supposed to be ours. While we were busy he demanded that he wanted to close whereas he delayed serving us the food. Time to leave he brings the bill saying I must pay the balance of R400 I refused than he called the own who was not around during the day to sort out the mess now his here to demand the 400 . I didnt pay I left the place.
