they dont even know what a speedometer is !!!

went to dekra pinetown yesterday to get car roadworthied car was perfect except this expert picked up what he said was the speedometer was \faulty"he sent us to this so called expert who told me without looking at the car that it was a two day job to repair this as the whole panel has to come out to go up to johannesburg for repair. I walked away as i live far from pinetown and getting in and out is impossible. How can someone say whats wrong with a car without even looking at it???? Because it turnes out its not the speedometer that is actually working perfectly - its the odometer which is slightly faulty i say slightly faulty because it works but the digits are just very feint on the bottom part but you can see it and it works - checking out dekras check list the odometer is not even on the list so you cannot actually point out a fault if its not on the checklist"
