Poor service, incompetence, bad attitude and broken promises
I made a booking for a technical inspection for 26th June 2018. during the telephonic booking, no mention was made that payment needed to be made upfront.
When I get there on the 26th, I am only then informed. I asked for the manager. Instead on apologising for the lack of information, he says that I should have know. Poor service indeed.
I then tell the inspector, William Boucher about 2 particular faults that need diagnosing, namely a loud noise when braking on a steep descent and a very obvious engine noise upon acceleration.
When I get the report back, there is no mention of this on his report. I call William the next day and he promises to call me back after attending to another customer. He does not call back. I following up and leave a message then next day and on Friday the 29th.
To date, no call has been returned.
Very shocking service and the concern is that customers are paying a very high price - R2027 for a complete inspection only for Dekra not to even pick up obvious problems that the customer even informed them of.
Where to from here? Complain to a branch manager who simply doesn't understand the basic concept of customer service?
I'll await your reply.
