DO NOT USE DEKRA FOR ANY VEHICLE ASSESSMENTS

Here's a short story of what transpired: Yesterday I went to the DEKRA- PINETOWN interacted with the gentleman that works at the front desk (Prem) told me to go to the Licencing department as my licence disk had expired. I did that this morning then came to the branch straight after sorting the licence disk payments. I then interacted with CLIFFORD who then told me I need to get a temporary driving permit at the licensing department. I went and did that, came back and did my booking at the front desk. After making the booking Clifford and Shane Naidoo then told me that my vehicle will not pass the test because it doesn't have the right front mirror cover. My question is WHY did they wait for me to make the booking and even tell me to go make a temp driving permit because they saw the car when I came to the branch earlier today.

To me, this seems like DEKRA is a money-making **** that has no interest in the clients that utilize their services. If this is what your organization upholds, I am willing to go all out and publicly share my experience at DEKRA. These employees furthermore disrespected my wish of cancelling the booking and went on Testing for roadworthiness after CLEARLY declaring to them that I am no longer interested in doing the assessment. I am not sure if your organization hires people that DO NOT listen to clients on purpose, whatever the case may be THIS NEEDS TO CHANGE. Not only did I Lose the R650 I booked with, but the R180 I paid for the temporary permit!
