warranty ****/faulty fridge Defy

So i bought a double door fridge in 2020, a year later i reported an error code which readjusted the next day, 4 years later my freezer stopped working so i called the repair center and reported it i was then told that my fridge is no longer under warranty, when i purchased the fridge i was told it had a 10 year warranty and now it has changed she also mentioned that if you don't register with them there's no warranty ...that's a ******* ..they should advertise the expected life span on the fridge so people will be sure not to purchase an appliance that will break so fast..so today i was contacted by a service repair guy from Defy who said he can come check my frigde but i would have to pay a call out fee..let me just mention LG doesn't do this! I will never purchase a Defy appliance ever again..and i will be sure to tell everyone i come into contact with that is even considering purchasing Defy.
