If I could give a ZERO, I would.
If I could give a ZERO, I would. My oven is faulty, and I specifically reached out to Defy to ensure I was using a credible provider. However, I’ve spent the past three weeks continuously calling for updates after paying the R690 call-out fee. I was initially advised that I would receive a damage report following the call-out. Since then, Defy has informed me that they cannot provide a damage report, and they’ve failed to follow through with any updates regarding the repair. I’ve had to chase them for updates, and each time I’m told that spares have been ordered even though I haven’t been informed of any costs, nor have I confirmed that I want to proceed with a repair. How can I approve a repair when the cost is unknown? At this point, it may make more sense to buy a new oven, but I can’t make that decision because so much information is being withheld. I feel like I’ve been ****med and am now in the exact situation I was trying to avoid. I paid for a call-out, only to be left with zero service.
