Defy after sales service is of no value
I bought a Defy dishwasher which was delivered on the 30th march 2023 On the 13th October (6 months later) the dishwasher was leaking all over the floor. The technician came out, after two weeks and said it was unbalanced and put piece of plank under the diswasher. I did say to him it was a piece of **** and I thought Deefy should replace it and he told me that because I had had it for 6 months they would never do that, I reported it again on the 1st November, to no avail and once again it was "fixed" I phoned once again on the 6th December and now once again I am sittting with the same problem, I phoned Defy and reported the problem and ask for the Technican to come and sort out the problem. He arrived nd told me he had to order the part which would take ten day I had to phone defy about 7 times until the technician finally arrived no one from Defy could tell me when he was coming. He arrived here and had look and told me he wouyldhave to order the part and it would tske 10 days to be delivered, By this time I had alresdy been without a diswasher for 2 weeks. I subsequently phoned your custome service and was told there was no order placed for parts, a young lady said she would send it up the ladder for investigation. 3 days later I phoned again and spoke to Lendel who assured me he would make sure they were ordered. Well I phoned back after 2, as per his instuction and NOTHING was even noted I have been sitting without a dishwasher and to all intents and purposes for Defy couldn't give a continental. Their 24month gaurantee is not worth the paper it's written on. I must have made calls to Defy at least 3 times a day and firstly you're very lucky if they answer, I had held on for 17 minutes yesterday so you can only imagine my fraustration. Their after sales service has gone down the tubes and I speak a a loyal customer of Defy. Most of my kitchen is defy products. I have been dealing with Cape Town as I live in Clanwilliam
