Urgent Att- Deep Heat
Dear Deep Heat Customer Care Team,
I am writing to express my serious concern and deep dissatisfaction with one of your products specifically, the Deep Heat Pain Relief Patch which caused me physical harm upon use.
I recently purchased one of your patches to relieve back pain, trusting your reputation as a well established pharmaceutical company. However, upon removal of the patch, I was shocked to discover that it had adhered so aggressively to my skin that it tore off a layer of skin from my back. This was not only painful and distressing, but completely unacceptable from a product that is supposed to relieve pain, not cause it.
There was no adequate warning on the packaging about the severity of adhesion or the potential for skin damage. If there are known risks associated with use, these should be prominently and explicitly communicated. The lack of proper guidance is not just negligent it’s dangerous.
I now have broken skin that has required treatment and has caused discomfort and disruption to my daily routine. I am incredibly disappointed by this experience and demand a full explanation of how a product like this was approved for consumer use without safeguards in place to prevent such injuries.
At the very least, I expect:
A formal apology for the harm caused.
Reimbur*****t for the product and the medical expenses incurred as a result.
A clear outline of what actions your company is taking to prevent incidents like this from happening to others.
Should I not receive a satisfactory response in a timely manner, I will not hesitate to report this incident to the appropriate regulatory bodies and explore legal options.
I hope you take this matter seriously. I look forward to your prompt and responsible response.
I have pictures of the injury.
