You can only buy from Decofurn if you want to be endlessly frustrated and wait an eternity for your item
My experience at Decofurn Greenstone has been extremely frustrating. I bought a glass dining room table from them on the 15 February 2021. I was told that they didn’t have the item in stock but it will be available within 2 weeks. I was prepared to wait for 2 weeks, and paid them in full including a delivery fee of R300. It is now over a month later and I still don’t have my table. Each time that I called them they kept telling me that it will be arriving within the week. I eventually got hold of the branch manager Jabulani, who gave me his word that I would have my table by Wednesday, 17 March. Today is the 18th of March, my table is still not here. Jabulani called me to say he has sourced a table from another branch but that I have to pay an additional R300, delivery fee for the table.
I agreed and paid R300 delivery fee, why do I now need to pay an extra fee? It seems to me that I have to be penalised for Jabulani and his teams inefficiencies. Decofurn sold an item that they knew wasn’t going to be available. They have kept my money, which, if I want back, I have to wait an additional 7 days for! Their customer service is non existent. I called the area manager, who wasn’t available at the time. To date that individual has not called me back! Jabulani doesn’t seem to hear me out at all I must only listen to what he say but doesn’t want to hear what I have to say. Service is shockingly disgusting.
