Unprofessional Conduct and Poor Quality

Avoid Decofurn at whatever the cost.

I recently bought a sideboard from Decofurn in Northriding.

I’ve had it for 2 weeks, the drawers are de - railing from the runners and the wood is splitting at the joins. Both of which are clearly manufacturing faults.

An employee of Decofurn contacted me to inform that they would uplift the unit and arranged a day to do so prompting me to empty the unit in preparation.

I was then contacted on the day that the unit was meant to be uplifted and told that due to me modifying the unit by drilling holes for cables, the unit would not be uplifted and a decision would be made by the regional manager (name unknown).

I was told simultaneously the loss of my warranty would be effected, as per terms and conditions, due to the modification.

Checking the terms later, there is no such term.

Netherless, I recieved my call to inform me that the regional manager had made a decision not to exchange.

There was no offer of repair. Basically a new door and re alignment of the draw runners.

I queried the fact that the modification had nothing to do with the manufacturing faults and was shut down with the following reply:

You can e - mail again but the answer remains no. Thanks you very much, goodbye.

Poor service, poor decisions, poor quality.

Won’t buy there again and suggest this to all those considering purchasing from Decofurn Furniture Warehouse.
