Unable to deliver

I bought goods online where a zip code is provided for them to check if they deliver on your address or not of which they accepted my order and processed it and even late for their estimated delivery period. I even called to asked if they can Assembly my goods for me they told they can't for my address they only deliver I do the assembling myself. Today received a phone call from a courier company telling me they don't delivery at my address I must collect 12 furniture item and transport them myself to my address. This is very upsetting and pure poor service. Why can't they go to the Police station and ask for escorting.
